Dan. I think it's very interesting that you mentioned this, because it reminds me of the women at work. Off the top of my head, I can name 4 Filipinas that I didn't really notice this until I read your article here. There's 2 that sing, 3 that talk a lot, and if I'm having one of those days and just sit and don't say anything, one of them will notice right off the bat. By now, If I just sit and don't say anything, this is the one way of getting her attention. The other 3 may or may not talk to me, but they talk among each other, and usually in Tagalog.

I guess the major difference here is the woman you are referring to is your wife, and the 4 that I am referring to are just my co workers.
