If you read another members blog, you should comment for two reasons.
(1) To show that you appreciate a member sharing their thoughts
(2) To Network Your Profile.
Every time you comment on a blog, there is a link placed in the comment to your profile. Recent comments are also displayed on the home page.
There are many ways to network your profile but by far the two most important ways is either to write a blog or comment on other member's blogs. So if you are not a blog writer but still want to show appreciation and network your profile, than comments on other member's blogs.
Why are blogs and blog comments such an important network tool? Because blogs have their own RSS link that connects to the internet. Your comment or blog could be indexed by google and be found by someone using google to search for love.
