As most of you probably know, I run three Asian dating sites. Filipina Eyes was my first site so it is kind of like my first born and also has the most visitors of the three. However, the other two are not far behind.
All three sites seem to have their share of heartaches and happiness. It seems I have been getting a slew of good news in the past few weeks of members finding love. Congrats to all. I also get my share of heartache letters which is tough for me to answer. I wish I could wave a magic wand and take away the pain someone may be feeling but usually all I can recommend is time and not to give up. I know when someone’s heart has been broken it feels as if you will never recover, but believe me in time your pain will lessen.
I have been down the road of heartaches a few times. This is my 3rd marriage and the first two were with American ladies that ended in disaster. Some of it had to do with being in the military (23 years), but mostly because it just wasn’t meant to be. Now that time has gone by and I’m now happily married, I can only say that God must of intended for me to travel the road I did so I would appreciate the love I now have in my life. I hope for those who do experience the perils of heartache realize that it was not meant to be and in time there will be someone just for YOU.
All those who found true love, I can’t say how joyful this makes me feel. One of the biggest reasons I started a dating site was because of the gratitude I felt for finding Eileen and wanted others to find the same joy we did. It never fails, but when I think I’m burned out and want to give up, I get an email from someone thanking me for the site and my juices are rejuvenated once more.
Those who marry someday, we hope you share your joy and happiness with other new members. We would love to see some wedding pictures or better yet, a wedding video from a couple who found love.
