![]() The Filipina ladies I met that did not turn into romance, became my allies and ambassadors in my search. If I had a question or concern, a friendly lady was always there to help. I have no doubt that if it was not for these friendships, I may of not found Eileen. They taught me about the Filipino culture and gave me encouragement when needed. Who likes rejection? Not many. Yet it was an invaluable part of the journey. It made me realize how precious love was and placed a worth on my quest that could not be measured in words without effort. I knew then, that God had a plan that I could not rush or weaken. With every rejection, it was as if God was saying “are you going to give up or are you going to hang in there?” God was testing me to see if I was worthy before He gave me the precious gift of love. If you have not run into a scammer, than you have not been searching for love very long or very hard. Most scammer attempts were so obvious, it was laughable. However, I decided that no matter how subtle, a lady who asks for money early in my journey, was not my cup of tea. Don’t get me wrong, there are exceptions. If I met a lady I wanted to get to know and Internet Café fees was stopping her from checking her emails, I did not mind helping (the amount was small). I equated paying for internet fees like going on a date with someone I met in my home town. The ladies whose attempts to get money that had NOTHING to do with our relationship or was an inappropriate amount during the early stages of a courtship, got a quick goodbye. Of course if you do find the ONE to marry, it is time to discuss expenses. Most Filipina ladies can’t afford the airline tickets or processing fees involved with immigration. Probably the only time you should be discussing serious money, is when you are absolutely sure the relationship itself is serious. Your journey here at Filipina Eyes may of begun today or ten months ago. It really doesn’t matter as long as you are focused on finding the love of your life. If you stay true to your course, eventually a road will lead you to the ONE who will join you in your journey for life. Subscribe to Filipina Dating Articles |
