I’m not sure if anyone is a David Letterman fan, but I always enjoy the Top Ten list he does on a particular topic during his show. I thought I would do my Top Ten reasons for joining Filipina Eyes. In David Letterman fashion, we will count backwards from 10 to 1. Number 10 reason to join Filipina Eyes is because of the dating script. I won’t say it is perfect, but I put a lot of time, money and effort into making it a pretty good script. It has it flaws and there is still room to improve, but all in all, it has some nice features. Number 9 reason to join Filipina Eyes is because we are a small mom and pop site. I married and met a Filipina Lady on a dating site and am happy to give my opinion to anyone who asks. Those larger sites (I call them corporate sites), usually have a staff that probably doesn’t have a clue what it is like to meet and marry a lady on the net from another country. Our staff consist of me, my wife and those few volunteers who help out. Number 8 reason to join Filipina Eyes is for the members themselves. The door is pretty wide open for members to get to know other members without any middle man involved. You see someone you want to get to know, be it for friendship or love, you contact them and take it from there. Number 7 reason to join Filipina Eyes is there is no contract or obligation. You can come and go as you please. If you join and decide the next day it isn’t your cup of tea, you can leave or you can stay a member for as long as you like. Number 6 reason to join Filipina Eyes is that many have found love. One of my worse failings as a webmaster at Filipina Eyes is keeping track of all the people who found love. Yet, a day hardly goes by where I don’t get an email from someone telling me they found the love of their life. Heck, we have had people find each other, marry and had children. One of my dreams is to have a testimonial section on Filipina Eyes to help me keep track of those who found love. Someday it will happen. Number 5 reason to join Filipina Eyes is you despise the bar scene. If you are like I was, after my last divorce, the last thing I was ready to do was get out there and compete in the meat market at a popular hang out. Talk about having your ego crushed in a hurry. Sitting at home and meeting people while relaxing in the living room is much less stressful than trying to talk to someone over loud music. Number 4 reason to join Filipina Eyes is safety. Yes, Ms Feminist, safety. Feminist wants all foreign ladies who join a dating site to believe that every U.S. male is an unscrupulous criminal wanting to rape you from across the ocean. Yet an American lady can join a local dating site in her city, make arrangements to meet the guy that same night, be killed and you don’t hear a peep from feminists. Why? There is no easy government funding for shutting down big business like E-harmony, Match.com, etc. If an Asian lady meets a man from the U.S, she doesn’t have to worry much about him going to the expense of jumping on a plane to meet her for dinner and afterwards doing something illegal. It would be cheaper for him to get a prostitute or join a local dating site that promotes meeting someone for a date within miles of where you live. Number 3 reason to join Filipina Eyes is my Filipina wife. I’m far from an expert on marriage, nor do I confess to be. There are those times I have to ask my wife what she thinks when I come across a certain situation. Usually that magical woman intuition kicks in and she can be as right on as anyone I have ever met when I need some womanly advise. Number 2 reason to join Filipina Eyes is for the ladies. I know the ladies who join are looking for a good man, but lets face it guys, there are some good looking ladies on the site. In most cases the gals outnumber the men so any man who joins should not be left without the opportunity to find the lady of their dreams. I have said this a thousand times, but I will say it again. It is more about persistence and patience than about romance when it comes to finding love. Number 1 reason to join Filipina Eyes is because membership is 100% FREE. You don’t pay a dime. You sign up, submit your pictures, follow some simple rules to keep the site a family site and to help keep it from being spammed to death and you are in. It isn’t required, but we love it when two people find love and share their good news with us. Those emails about finding love keeps us motivated no matter how tedious and difficult it may get in keeping the site running during these tough financial times.
