Stand by Me


For July, I think I will make the theme for the month "stand by me". In this day and age, finding love is tough. When you do find it, it can be just as hard to hold onto it. The whims of human nature in itself can make the best love sway, but those who know  they have a good thing will fight to hold onto it.

So stand by your love. You may have your moments of heartaches and troubles but if you stand by each other your love will survive.

we dont have divorce in Phils cuz the church wont allow it.. but we have many separated couples and broken families as well.. and even if we have divorce here, only rich people could afford :P

I can relate, and admits, me, me, me has been a problem, I now realize it is selfish, and no way to have a equal relationship, learning, only Hope I have, Thanks Dan

Finding love is really easy - sticking to the guidelines to finding it is extremely difficult because the road is very hard - which causes you to be alone a lot.

MarkusReborn is right on.

Most of us simply pick bad partners because of the me me me attitude and we flip it around and call it love. So our marriages fall apart.

The wedding vows say:

For richer, FOR POORER,
IN SICKNESS, and in health,
In good times and IN BAD,
For better or FOR WORSE

Makes you wonder if folks are seriously thinking about the vows when they make them. Sad that the American culture makes divorce so easy. That and a mentality of "me first" makes many think marrieage is a picnic or a fairy tale... it's not. It can be hard work and a major struggle sometimes. We need to stand by our mate when that happens.
