Guys' Major Sin

Guys' Major Sin

Guys,I tried to be subtle in other articles, news items, and postings to give you a heads up, but guys, you continue to commit one of the major online dating sins.

LADY NETWORK:

I bet close to 50% (maybe higher) of the ladies are talking to dozens of other lady members on the site. Why? Ladies like to talk, compare and have a lady friend to lean on.

You are a dead man, if you get caught being a butterfly within the lady network. They will take your messages, share it, laugh at the cookie cutter message  and before you know it, you are the talk of the lady network, but in a bad way.

A typical cookie cutter message:

"I saw your profile and know you are the ONE for me. If you believe in love at first sight, I hope when you see my profile, you will fall in love like I did. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I know we can have a future together if you feel like I do."

When a lady gets a message that sounds too good to be true, I can guarantee you that she is  going to show that message to a lady friend and ask if they think this guy is the real thing or not. If it turns out the guy sent the friend the same message, you have been tagged as a butterfly in the lady network.

GUYS IT IS SIMPLE:

Guys, you can write to more than one lady, but don't confess your undying love to someone you just met and for god's sake when you send a message, try to use words that indicate you at least glazed at her profile. Get out of the cookie cutter copy and paste mode and keep your message within the "I would like to get to know you stage" without confessing your undying love and you will go a long way in not becoming known as a "butterfly" in the lady network.

Good Luck and be Real!

I agree with theme of the article, but men aren't the only ones who commit this travesty. I personally know of a Filipina who, last year, professed love to at least four online men she met in chat rooms... all in a matter of a few weeks. If someone professes love to you in less than a few weeks time, red lights should go off in your head. It's probably a scam.

I just hope men would really try to "get to know" the ladies here, like Plato said, "you can know a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation" *winks* so men out there, come and drop me a line...

That's making an industry of declarations of love. Reminds me of a friend known as the stud of the town. Asked how he did it he said: I ask every girl I meet to have sex with me. Nine out ten will fly of the handle and storm off some after cuffing my ears, but one in ten will agree, which makes it well worth the pain of the other nine! :))
