Since I have been the webmaster of Filipina Eyes, many different relationships have developed. Not all relationships are about finding love. Some members develop good friendships that last a lifetime.

A friendship relationship can be very helpful when looking for love. Each of you can support each other in your search. I remember when I was looking for love, without the many ladies I met along the way, I would of never learn about the Filipina culture. My theory is that these lady friends paved the way for me to find my true love. Even the ladies who rejected me, taught me something. With each connection I made, I grew as a person ready to make a commitment to another person. In many ways, these ladies were as responsible for me finding love as I was.

In most cases, two people start out contacting each other looking for romance. If there is not enough spark, they may still have enough in common and enjoy each others conversations to continue as friends. Not everyone takes this approach. In some cases, one feels the spark and the other does not, making it difficult to continue as friends. The one who feels the spark feels rejected and is too hurt to continue the relationship as friends.

I know that a lot of the lady members will seek out friendship with other lady members. This has proven to be the downfall for many men who play the field and have no idea the ladies are talking to each other. Male seeking male friendship seems to be rare, but many male and female friendships have developed on Filipina Eyes.

Here are some advantages between male and female friendships.

1. Teach each other about their culture.

2. Learn each others language.

3. Share your thoughts about what makes the opposite sex tick

4. Sex buddies (I’m not going to clarify but just say that I have many tell me this is the case).

5. Tour guide - many of the male members make friendships with lady members who become their tour guide if they decide to visit the Philippines

6. A shoulder to cry on

I think you pretty much get the idea and know that friendships can be a life saver in an emotional crisis as well as someone who can give you that extra push if needed to help in your search for love.

So if the feelings are mutual that romance is not meant to be, maybe a friendship is still in the cards to support each other. It may be what is needed to find your true love.
