 I won’t divulge any names, but for example, I will get an email from a lady thanking me for having a place to meet up with people from around the world. Who hopes to find love but if she doesn’t she is grateful she had the opportunity to do so. Or, I will get an email from a member who seems to of lost all hope of ever finding love again, but they are hoping that there is someone who will love them on one of our sites. Or I will get an email thanking me for the love they found. They are on cloud nine and love is now part of their life. Or ... I could go on but hardly a day doesn’t go by that I don’t get at least one message or email that touches me in some way. It gives me the energy to keep my sites running as best as I can without pulling my hair out. Of course there is the flip side. For example, I will get a complaint from a member about scammers. It motivates me to try to find a way to do something that I have not already tried. But the problem is, it takes effort on the members part as well. I have categorized some of these members as complainers because they complain but when you ask them to do something they are too lazy to make the effort. These type of people frustrate me. A good example is I tried a new way to narrow the membership so only serious members about marriage could find a haven from those who are here to scam or play games. I called it Serious for Marriage club and posted it on Asian Wife to see what type of response I would get. Even with bare minimum requirements to be in the club, most members do not comply. They send an email asking to be in the club, yet do not make the effort to meet the requirements. Instead they want a free ride without any effort to make the club a place for those who are Serious about Marriage. We will continue to do our best, but I’m only human and at times get as frustrated as the next person. However, it never fails, when I think I had enough, I will get a message thanking me for the site and telling me they found love. In turn, I would like to say to those members who share their appreciation, thank you, it is what keeps the site going.
