At times things seem slow

I got an email from a member saying at certain times the gallery seems slow.

Yes, I'm aware that at times the gallery seems slow. My site lives on a shared server. This means if there are a lot of people or members visiting the site, they are all sharing the same resources. Before Filipina Eyes went free, we averaged between 30 to 40 members/visitors visiting the site at one time. Now when I visit the site to update, there seems to be between 75 to 150 visitors/members on the site at one time.

The only solution to this is upgrading my server but it is expensive to get a dedicated server.

At the moment, I'm looking into other possibilities, but if it is a solution that requires lots of money it may be beyond the means of a free site. But I'm always searching for solutions that do not cost me an arm and a leg to fix.

If it is any consequence, it slows down me doing admin work as well. I have no magic entry to the gallery so it speeds up for me. I will hold off doing work during peek hours. It seems most people visit during certain times of the day more so than other times.

p.s. If you are a visitor to the site, you have to join if you want to contact another member (note: I realize that bots may visit the site and are not human beings. I'm trying to sort out the bots and only allow good bots versus bad bots using up the resources).
