I just finished writing a long rant about the notion that online dating is for desperate people. I am sooo sick of that myth. I mean, what are the people afraid of? That the desperation will get infected or something? Or the social stigma? I can’t but laugh at their fears, as quite honestly people who suck at meeting people offline still suck online, and people who get dates offline get dates online. The difference as you say, is just the amount of people you will have an access to. Online dating isn’t supposed to REPLACE real life dating, it’s supposed to give another venue to do it. It’s just another way - and usually the more successful one, judging by results. The reason for that is that online you are REQUIRED TO COMMUNICATE, which is completely optional in the real life… If you know what I mean.

Very one sided story. I would like to hear the others like Rubeth and her husband, perhaps both parents too, to resemble truth from this. There is definitely something wrong with this American. I guess he was from high income class with plenty of time and spending cash on hand (very attractive for Rubeth’s parents)but despite all the nicely put together writeup he is a hypocrite. He preaches God’s law, what Jesus did to the sinful woman and tells us what “God does not like” as if he would be God himself. But on the other hand even before marriage he to this girl “gave full erotic body massages” and says they “became more and more intimate sexually”. Who is this guy? No wonder he wanted to remain anonymous. Maybe some kind of writer or reporter who can professionally tweak the story to one side or the other. He appears here to be like the “holy one” but not to me. He may have used even such dirty things like blackmail, writing all the relatives thus making the poor girl’s parents move out of their neighbourhood.
He used his american dollars to get some beautiful flower from Filipino country, he got some fun but real love you cannot buy even with the most overvalued currency. What really turned this girl off or what was really going on in the bed the author intentionally hides. There is a lot of unsaid what perhaps should have been.
