Under law, an Online Dating Site who does not charge membership fees for their services is exempted from IMBRA. Filipina Eyes does not charge membership fees. There are other exemptions (read bottom of page)

Note that the below demo form is geared towards meeting a lady from the Philippines. Hence the reference to Tagalog. All background forms must be submitted to the foreign lady in her native language.

This form is for demo purposes.......We can not guarantee its accuracy. The Law may change overtime as well as the form itself. The above form is a pretty good replica of IMBRA requirements for the year 2006. Hopefully in 2007 there is no such form, but my fear is, unless Americans wake up, it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. The above background form is for demo only. Laws and requirements do change and over time the requirements for the above form may change (I fear for the worse). As of 2007, this is how I understand IMBRA works for paid online dating sites:

  • Paid USA IMBRA site has to use the above form. The male client would have to fill out the above form and for each lady the male member wants to contact, the form would have to be provided to that lady in her native language.
  • Once the lady receives the background form, she has to give her consent for the male member to contact her. She can decline.
  • If she does give her approval, the male member can now send the lady an email to say hello.

Wow -- A lot of work just to say hello to someone who lives thousands of miles from you. What's crazy about this law is a domestic dating site whose member wants to meet a lady that lives in the same area as he does, does not have to fill out the form. You tell me, which scenario increases the chances a lady may meet a pre-meditated rapists:

(a) a lady a male wants to meet who lives hundreds or even thousands of miles away (the likely scenario of an international dating site)

(b) a lady a male wants to meet who may live in the same area he does (the likely scenario of an domestic dating site).

Now you know why many international online dating webmasters think the law is about politics, favoritism and milking the tax payer dollar to support a feminism agenda and their salaries.

We do not need to have our taxes raised. We need congress to stop wasting our tax dollars on special interest groups and laws that do nothing but support the special interest group's political agenda (and salaries). Stop the waste and ask congress to live within a budget, like most American families have to, and take responsibility for spending our tax dollars wisely and carefully.
